The Pitch View is dedicated to authentic, unfiltered sports storytelling across Africa. We provide athletes with a platform to share their own experiences, in their own words, from the grass pitches to the global stage.

We are continually expanding our ecosystem of storytellers, creative professionals, and strategic partners.

1. Athletes, Coaches, and Sports Figures

If you are an active or retired athlete, coach, or sports professional connected to East Africa with an authentic story to tell, we want to help you share it:

• The Process: We pair you with our editorial staff to shape, refine, and polish your narrative while preserving your authentic voice. You maintain control over your story throughout the process.
• Pitch Your Story: Email your proposal, concept, or inquiry directly to editorial@thepitchview.com.

2. Writers, Editors, and Translators

We collaborate with sports journalists, essayists, ghostwriters, and translators who understand the cultural nuances of East African sport:

• We are interested in pitches covering football, athletics, rugby, basketball, boxing, and emerging regional sports.
• Fluent storytellers working in English, Swahili, and other regional languages can send a short introductory note and 2–3 published writing samples to editorial@thepitchview.com.

3. Photographers, Videographers, and Illustrators

Visual storytelling is central to how we showcase our athletes:

• We hire local visual artists across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and the wider diaspora for portrait sessions, match-day photo essays, and digital illustrations.

4. Brand Partnerships and Media Collaborations

We work with brands, sporting leagues, federations, and civic organizations that want to support East African sports storytelling:

• Collaborative opportunities include sponsored editorial packages, short-form documentaries, youth sports initiatives, and cultural events.
