Kenya Police continued their impressive run under coach Salim Babu after defeating KCB 1-0 on Saturday to move into second place on the FKF Premier League table. Duncan Otieno’s first-half strike was enough to secure all three points for the law enforcers, who are now unbeaten in 11 matches under Babu.

Gor Mahia maintained their lead at the top of the table after thrashing bottom-placed Nzoia Sugar 3-1 at Sudi Stadium. Benson Omala, Shariff Musa, and Bryson Wangai were on target for K’Ogalo, who had to fight back from an early scare after Ian Simiyu put the hosts ahead with a penalty.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Bandari drew 1-1 against Bidco United, while Nairobi City Stars hammered newcomers Murang’a Seal 3-0. Kakamega Homeboyz and Kariobangi Sharks played out a 1-1 draw, while Sofapaka and Ulinzi Stars shared the spoils with a similar scoreline.

On Sunday, AFC Leopards edged out Posta Rangers 1-0 thanks to a first-half header from former Posta Rangers defender Kennedy Owino. The win comes as a perfect preparation for Leopards ahead of their upcoming Mashemeji derby against Gor Mahia.

Tusker’s faint title hopes were dealt a massive blow after slumping to a 3-1 defeat against FC Talanta in a match played on a deteriorated pitch at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. The brewers took the lead through a penalty converted by Erick Kapaito, but Talanta fought back to win the game with goals from December Kasaka, Kevin Tom Machika, and Mike Jaior.
