AFC Leopards have revealed the amount they collected from gate collections during their Sunday loss to Kakamega Homeboyz.
Leopards who started the year on top of the Sportpesa League table went down to a Hillary Omolo’s first minute strike and are now joint top with the Patrick Odhiambo coached side.

In a statement on their social media handles, Leopards revealed that they sold a total of 3170 tickets with 2831 for terraces and 339 for the VIP section.
“We sold a total of 3170 tickets: 2831 for terraces and 339 for the VIP section in our FKF-PL match against Kakamega Homeboys at Nyayo Stadium,” the statement said. “We take this opportunity to thank all of us for purchasing the tickets, turning up for the match.”
With the terrace tickets retailing at sh 300 and VIP going for sh 500, the club collected a total sum of sh 1,018,800 (sh 849,300 from terrace and sh 169,500 from the VIP section) for the tie.

Leopards will be hoping for a change of fortunes when they take on Nairobi United in their next game as they seek to reclaim top spot. After the United duel, the 1998 Champions will be up against Tusker FC, APS Bomet and Sofapaka respectively in the month of January.
